What do you want from your dog grooming course?
If you are looking to set up your own business then we are here to give you full support.
If you want to learn how to groom your own dog then we are here to teach you just that.
If you already offer a service within the canine industry such as dog walking, boarding, training or run a kennels then we are here to develop your skills and your business.
What course is best for you?
If you are looking for a career in dog grooming, want to add to your existing business or want to set up on your own then start with our City & Guilds Level 2 or unique combination package of City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 to save money.
With our City & Guilds Level 2 you will leave your course ready to start up your own business. Something rarely found in the majority of training centers.
As well as meeting high standards within the City & Guilds criteria each practical lesson also includes real client interaction, discussing their dog's needs, grooming their dog from start to finish, not just the preparation, handing over the client's dog when you finish, giving feedback to the client and inputting records. You are given complete support to enable you to do this from day one.
Also Included as an addition to the set City & Guilds criteria our Level 2 course teaches you an introduction to canine behaviour, animal learning theory and appropriate handling skills, plus an optional session on business start up skills. We can also teach you how to produce and present your business plan.
For additional styling skills and for more 'in depth' knowledge then you need to progress onto our City & Guilds Level 3 course. This is highly recommended for your continued success and to develop your new skills and we find that most students take both their Level 2 and 3 with us at some point.
If you just want to learn how to groom your own dog then we offer comprehensive training with equal care and attention for the dog owner.
Still not sure what course is right for you?
We know just how complicated some of the course options appear within the industry and understand that you are looking after your money and your investment in your career, so it is important for you to choose the right course for you.
